The City of Dayton offers an annual $50 property tax credit on the principal residence of a citizen who is at least 60 years of age or completely and permanently disabled. Disabled applicants must provide a Certificate of Disability completed by their physician or psychologist. An applicant must have owned the home in which they live within the Dayton corporation limits at least since the beginning of the year. The home must be the applicant's principal place of residence. Applications for the program are available in early autumn of each year.
